Question 1 (70 marks)
Social networks are believed to provide new ways for business to interact with potential buyers to influence buying decisions and to sell their products and services. In 2010, Facebook launched its shopping platform F-Commerce (i.e., Facebook Commerce or Facebook stores) to enable companies to convert their Facebook fans into customers. But, F-Commerce hasn’t quite lived up to the hype it was cultivating. Among the top 50 Facebook Stores listed by Social Commerce Today in 2011 (http://digitalinnovationtoday.com/top-50-facebook-stores-top-20-facebook-store-solutions/), only a few are still in operation (e.g., Lady Gaga).
