The U.S. Virgin Islands The Virgin Islands is filled with many things to do and see. There are many different people and usually no conflict. It has beautiful beaches and amazing snorkeling spots. The Virgin Islands are located in The Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. It is East of Puerto Rico and South of The British Virgin Islands. “Each Island is different and has its own charms and attractions” (Philpott 7). There is so many things to learn about The Virgin Islands. There is so much you could learn about the islands like its geography, climate, government, economy, culture, and even some interesting facts. The Virgin Islands has an interesting geography including rainforests, national parks, wildlife refuges, and coves. St. Croix has a rainforest that has a wildlife refuge. The races of the people are about 84% black, 6% white, and 10% mixed. The culture is very nice and everyone is very polite and get along very well.
