One of the many activities available is tubing. To tube, you get on a round raft type of object and you sit in the middle of it and ride down the river. You can see all the beautiful things around you, such as the trees, the little islands and the wildlife on the sides of the river. The trees are a brilliant green all summer and in spring they bloom with lovely white and pink colors. In autumn, they turn a bright red, yellow, and orange, lighting up the river. Some islands look eerie in winter because it is hard to see through all the branches and trees, giving the island a dark, spooky look. Other islands look warm and inviting, beckoning you in with their luscious branches full of different colored leaves. The wildlife looks beautiful, sometimes family of deer are visible; you can usually see one or two yearlings with their mother. Other times you can see chunky little groundhogs, usually during spring time. To see the groundhogs, you have to pay attention minutely because they are usually undistinguished among all the trees and the ground. Kayaking and canoeing are other options, which are both just as entertaining as tubing except they are more serene. You can put your hands in the river and sometimes feel the scaly fish rub up against your hand.…

When I was 18, my family took a trip to Cancun for Spring Break. I absolutely loved the beaches and palm trees, the white sand, hot sun and blue waves. Ever since then I have had a real passion for tropical islands. My favorite and perhaps the most beautiful Islands I've researched are the Cayman Islands. I've only seen pictures and heard stories but I've already decided that's where I am getting married. I still however, don't know anything about the islands. My love for these islands and my thirst for knowledge on the topic has driven me to do more research and find out the history behind the Cayman Islands. I want to know everything about them, so far the only thing I know is that there are three islands, Grand…

Puerto Rico is a beautiful place. The sun is always shining and the temperature does not go below eighty degrees Fahrenheit. If you run out of something like sugar or salt, you can always knock on your neighbor’s door and they will be happy to help you out. They treat everyone as if they were family. There is always something to do. Either you can go to the beach, go to the waterfalls, take a stroll through the jungles, or even sit under a palm tree and drink out of a coconut shell. Although there are many pros, there are also many cons. The crime rate in the island of Puerto Rico is high. Many fights involve objects, not just fists. It can be a brick, a stick, or even a broom. Fights are taken very serious. Also, the economy is not in great shape. Despite all of the cons, people seem to focus on the pros. The beaches are breath taking. The water is crystal-clear blue. The people are beautiful and very exotic.…

    Describe Puerto Rico

I have spent my entire life in one place. An archipelago, to be correct. By this, I mean Puerto Rico and its surrounding islands. It is a very special and unique location due to its location and its history. With the Caribbean Sea to the south and the Atlantic Ocean to the north, my elementary school teachers often referred to it as the smallest of the Greater Antilles and the biggest of the Lesser Antilles, due to its location, which serves as the link between both island regions. Moreover, this links nicely to Puerto Rico's history. It is Puerto Rico's geographical location that made it a prime spot for the United States Navy to set up naval bases (Fort Buchanan in San Juan, as well as what used to be Roosevelt Roads in Ceiba, and the testing…
