"We Lie Loudest When We Lie to Ouselves" We all know liars. The majority of us even become liars from time to time. Some people will tell a fib for just about anything. Maybe its to get themselves out of trouble, possibly to spare someone else hurt feelings, or simply because that is what one is used to doing. Unfortunately, I've told a lie to my parents and it didn't turned out to not be such a good idea. I ended up with all my stuff being taken away, dealt with the consequences, and I learned a valuable lesson. It was summer break and everything was going just great. I the weather was perfect and I was having the time of my life. I didn't have a worry in the world until a particular Friday night came along. My friends invited me to come out to a party that night where there was drinking going on and I wasn't to fond of the idea. I didn't know how I would tell my parents about going to a party where there was alcohol. My friends of course peer pressured me and I eventually said that I would go. Time had passed and I was ready to tell my parents. I told them that I would be staying at a friends house for the night and I wouldn't be back until Saturday morning. They told me that was fine and told me to not go anwhere else. When I heard that, I knew right then that this wasn't going to be the brightest idea. I went to the party anyways, hoping that they wouldn't find out about this. The next morning came around and I was ready to go home. I had my friend drive me home and we said our good-bye's and I walked up to the house. When I got up to the door I felt a sense of fear. I walked through the door and there stood my parents. I knew I was in big trouble when I saw their faces. My parents ended up finding out where I was because they called the parents of the friends I was staying at. I lied to my parents and therefore, I got all my stuff taken away from me. I was't allowed to leave the house, my phone was taken away, the
