Before watching the video, I thought about the title of the video for a few minutes and came up with a hypothesis that Mr. Bittman would talk about the things that are in the food that we digest each and every day.
At the beginning of the video, Mr. Bittman compares the type of food that we currently eat today to nuclear warfare’s, global warming, and other worldwide issues. It has become an epidemic problem to many countries. He spoke a lot about cows and livestock that causes air pollution and other environmental developments. He then goes on to speak about the current health crisis about the way we choose and eat our foods. One of the evidence he spoke of is that eating animal related food is not required and the same thing goes for junk food. Those type of consumptions is not required in our life. Bittman, I would have some questions that I would like to ask him. Is he running any campaign to actually help out this epidemic and not just going out to speak about it? I know that raising awareness could help, but physically running a campaign or program could help out a lot more rather than writing an article about it or going out to speak about it. Another question that I have is can humans really only eat healthy food for the rest of their lives? What if a person just wants to experience and have the joy of being able to eat tasty items each day to gain pleasure. I truly don’t believe that everyone can eat healthy. I think that the majority reason of what we eat is to fill our pleasure, the taste bud. Being healthy is a true thing that each and every one should devote their efforts to, however, us humans also needs to enjoy the pleasure and experience the wonders out there that we, ourselves,
