Who Is Hazel Grace?
The Characters in the story were Hazel Grace she was a seventeen year girl, who had me fighting cancer since she was the age of eight years old. She was homeschooled and she always kept to herself., Augustus Waters but everyone just calls him short for Gus, was a tall seventeen year old boy good looking, and he lost his leg from also cancer.. Another main character is Isaac which is augustus best friend who has been blind for awhile. Isaac was fully spirited even though he was blind he was always full of hope. Until his girlfriend broke up with him about a day ago. One last main characters is Peter Van Houten, he was Hazel Grace’s Favorite Author. He was an old bitter man who had a drinking problem, and daughter had died from cancer. He was a bad guy, but wasn’t the main villain. In the book it says how she used her iPhone to call Gus. They also emailed and had a lot of different ways to communicate during this time just as we do now in the modern time. They also took a Limo to the airport and also a Airplane to Peter Van Houtens house. They also had the Anne Frank Museum done. They lived in there small town not really a big population on where they lived, but everyone was really there for everyone and usually always very friendly. The setting usually took place at the Church where they had their meetings where they talk about their meetings, or usually at Hazel Grace’s house or the Hospital. This is really important to all the characters because they all have or suffered cancer. Which Gus and Hazel are in love and want to be with each other knowing that they both had a sickness, and didn’t want to hurt or leave the other but knew they had to. This is important to The Villain or aka Cancer because cancer sucks and hurts everyone and is not good for anyone to

    This book has five main characters. The characters consist of Horatio Wilkes, Hamilton Prince, Trudy Prince, Claude Prince, and Olivia Mendelsohn. This story takes place in Denmark Tennessee, in the twenty-first century. First Horatio comes down to Denmark to stay with his friend Hamilton for the summer. Then they find Olivia Mendelsohn protesting about their polluted river from the Hamilton’s family paper plant. Next they are given a video that says Hamilton’s father was murdered. After that they both start questioning everyone while two of Hamilton’s old middle school buddies come down and play his video games drink all his soda. Then Hamilton shoots Olivia’s dad thinking it Claude while Hamilton’s drunk. Next the family realizes he has a drinking problem and his two old middle school buddies drive Hamilton to a clinic to help teen alcoholics. Next Horatio and Olivia get on the news because Olivia drinks some of the river water and becomes very sick and sent to the hospital. Then Horatio calls the clinic to see when he can visit Hamilton but they say know one ever signed Hamilton up for the clinic in the first place.
