Romeo and Juliet the ‘star crossed lovers’ seem to be doomed the first day they meet each other. The play ends with Romeo and Juliet killing themselves just days after meeting. Shakespeare closely tangles the play so it seems that every character plays an important part in the death of Romeo and Juliet. But the truth about the death of Romeo and Juliet is that it was their own fault. They had the ultimate decision to live or die. They're first mistake was they were way to quick and impulsive. Only by the end of act 1 do they realize they are the heirs of bitter enemies. So that alone was a problem, their families were great enemies for years and now the heirs of each have fallen in love. Then they get even more impulsive when Romeo goes to friar Lawrence and tells him:

On the fair daughter of rich Capulet;
As mine on hers, so hers is set on mine,
And all combin'd, save what thou must combine
