For example, the Nazis believed what they were doing to the Jews wasn’t wrong at all and didn’t consider their consequences. Because each individual involved in that group were similar in background they began to think alike and became more vulnerable to groupthink. Another group of members that believed in the rightness of their cause was the KKK. They all believe that everyone, other than their race, is the enemy. When someone is constantly around people that behave in an unpleasant way they get used to the environment and feel as if it’s okay to behave that way. However, it later became outdated and they were unwillingly considering new alternatives to advance in the industry. They refused to acknowledge that they couldn't survive without advancing. Another example was the mass resignation of the major league umpires association.
