except the Nazi Party. Both the leaders of the Communist and Socialist party were arrested and put in concentration camps. Hitler used propaganda the best because he had Joseph Goebbels his Minister for Public Enlightenment and Propaganda. With the use of propaganda the Nazi Party controlled everything from newspapers to the radio. Germany fell in love with Hitler because he knew how to make them fall in love with him.
Adolph Hitler used propaganda, spies, pleasure, and gifts to seduce the people of Germany. Although Hitlers approach seemed odd and confusing it was working. In 1933 unemployment in Germany stood at 6,000,000; by 1938 it was 500,000 and by 1939 it had virtually disappeared. This was a huge reason why Germans accepted and loved Adolph Hitler. Germany also loved Hitler because he gave them huge tax breaks and social benefits. Even up until the last days of the war Hitler made sure not a single German went hungry. He also cared for his soldiers: he gave them double the salary that an American or British soldier
received. Strong nationalism, militarism and the use of the Nazi party helped Hitler lead Germany. His promises to farmers, unemployed workers and the middle class helped create a stronger German society. Hitler promised farmers higher prices for their produce to make up for their losses during the depression. He promised unemployed workers jobs and finally he restored the middle class by ending the threat of communism. By focusing on the people and their needs Hitler became very popular in Germany during the 1920s and 1930s.
