Without the U.S. getting involved in WW1, the Allied forces would had probably lost to Central Powers late in the war. The U.S., although not in the war for long, joined just in time to play a very crucial and effect part in victory for the Allies. The United States of America may had just been the main reason the Allied Forces were in a good enough shape to stay in the war. The direct cause of World War One was the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand on June 28, 1914. But many see the large reason, builded up of many reason and morals, that caused this war to spiral out of control was the Alliance System the Nations of Europe were under. The Austrian Hungarian Nation declared war on Serbia for the assassination, so then that caused Russia to declare war on Austria Hungary. This then led Germany to declare war on Russia. Knowing France would come in to aid Russia Germany Declared war on France. Great Britain stepped in to stop the Germans from getting any closer. Soon all Nations were split, the Allied Forces and the Central Powers, and war began in Europe.
