Why Do Only Winners Get Trophies Essay

Trophy is a representation of a memorial of victory; an ornamental group of symbolic objects arranged for display, tangible, durable reminder of a specific achievement, and serves as recognition or evidence of merit. Trophies are often awarded for sporting events, from youth sports to professional level athletics. In many sports medals are often given out either as the trophy or along with more traditional trophies. The range between ages of 18-24 with 49%, 25-34 has 55%, 35-44 has 59%, 45-54 has 50%, 55-64 has 50%, and 65+ has 60% has voted for only winners get trophies. I believe that only winners get trophies because it would be unfair for the winners if the other kids get trophies for participate when they didn't even try.

For example, a kid can go to practice every day and have a terrible attitude and not improve or work hard at the sport and still receive a trophy at the end of the season.
