I was momentarily frustrated by his ruthless and unexpected response, but I just stayed calm. The reason why I did not exchange words with him was that I had to respect his power position no matter the response. Then I was very honest with myself that he permitted me to extend the deadline so nothing I could have argued over the issue. To my position, that was the most efficient moral uprightness of solving the case. Respecting his work position and his role was the value that avoided me to speak ill on to him.
