Why I Want To Be A Cosmetologist
This paper you will be reading will show my interest for being a cosmetologist or a hair dresser for my career choice. You will read about why I want to be in this job field and the college I will attend.
In this paper I will argue why I have selected to pursue a career as a cosmetologist based on my interest of doing people’s hair and makeup also to help them feel confident. My Career choice is to be an cosmetologist. A cosmetologist is someone who works with hair, makeup, and nails. What a cosmetologist does is basically your hair, nails, and makeup so they just make improvements to what you wanted to be better and makes you feel better about yourself, as in a boost of confidence. The education needed for this job is just a couple of classes

The college I am attending is only for 2 years and has all the programs I need in order to pass as an cosmetologist. What I already knew about being a cosmetologist is that I know I could help others feel comfortable about how they look and I think that is very important. I know that if I want to be a cosmetologist I need to have good people skills, clean up my areas, and that I need to be a good listener for my customers. To be a cosmetologist I will not just be doing makeup or hair, I would think I am helping others be comfortable in their own skin with some slight improvements. For instance this career will help me with is my people skills as in learning how to not be really quiet. This career will allow me to learn how to socialize more, go to different areas and explore new places because my job will help me to go new places and to help me make improvements to my …show more content…
This college is a community college and it is located around an urban neighbourhood. The total tuition for my program is $1,104 which is pretty cheap unlike other schools. The program in this school gives you more than you wanted to learn as in they teach you more techniques that you came to learn for. There has been review of this program from successful people. Once you join this program you learn not just new things school wise; you can learn to socialize more or learn more about more social subjects.
