Why I Want To Receiving Scholarship

My whole life I have looked up to my father, watching him work in his sales job. I remember listening intently as he would tell me about his work, being intrigued whenever he brought up the marketing department of his company. The way his company advertised and how marketing could have such a large impact on the goods people purchased and consumed fascinated me. As I have gone through high school, I have realized that marketing is something I want to do for the rest of my life. Because of this, I plan to attend the University of Alabama majoring in marketing after graduating high school. Receiving this scholarship would help me to cover some of the costs of college and help to make my dream of becoming a marketer a reality. Throughout high
school, I have demonstrated many qualities that Mrs. Herrmann found to be admirable. In cheerleading, I showed leadership and pride in my school. I became the captain of the cheer team my senior year, leading my team in cheers, chants, and stunts. I also helped to lead the mini cheer camps, encouraging young girls to follow their dreams and to be confident in themselves. I led the school at pep rallies and assemblies, never being afraid to show my school spirit and always doing my best to encourage my peers to do the same. I also showed tremendous commitment to academics throughout high school. I worked hard in all of my classes to earn the very best grade that I could, and always tried my best to contribute to class discussions. I believe that I am deserving of this scholarship not only because I am pursuing a college education in something I am very passionate about, but also because of the positive character qualities I showed throughout high school. As superintendent, Mrs. Herrmann always wanted the very best for the students of Dakota and encouraged them to follow their dreams. With the help of this scholarship, I will be able to pursue a higher education, bettering myself for the future.
