Why Is Computer Games Better Than Console Gaming
A quote from Albert Einstein is that, “Computers are incredibly fast, accurate, and stupid; humans are incredibly slow, inaccurate, and brilliant; together they are powerful beyond imagine.” (Einstein). Stated by Einstein himself, PC’s are powerful with humans and that still holds up to this day. Computers are a better option for a improved life rather than playing games on a console. PC gaming is a better option for gaming than Console gaming because of its better performance in-game, serperior graphics, and uses outside gaming. Firstly, PC gaming is a better option for gaming than Console gaming because of its better performance in-game. A quote by a PC gamer expert Hayden Dingman stated, “A 3GB GeForce GTX 1060 will only run you $200 on …show more content…
Most jobs in America require a computer or laptop, perfect reason to start playing video games on the superior gaming device. As a worker with a computer for work to get extra work done at home a computer is required for that and why not play games after the work is finished. And also a worker may have to have a computer just in case of an important email from a co-worker or boss which could be beneficial towards work and the more you work the more you get paid and at the same time have a thing to play games on. As a student at a school most of the time the teachers give out computer assigned work that will have to be finished at home and when the homework is finished it’s game time. Most people in school need a computer at home because of the work they didn’t finish or was assigned at home due by the end of the week. Another reason why a computer is a need is papers are written on computers and turned in on computers and all the research has to be completed online unless a library is nearby. And another reason why PC is a need is because of just playing games, if a gamer owns a computer for work or school why not just save money by getting games on the PC they already own rather than spending even more money on another thing. Also, if a gamer just gets a game on a decent computer they already own, they can just save up money and upgrade the PC they already have rather …show more content…
4 player family fun is a thing PC doesn’t have so for console you get to play with friends/family right next to you and have fun with the people next to you. Even if Console has that, a PC gamer can still play with friends/family online on the best system to play games on and with Console multiplayer games that people play on the same screen people can cheat and look at their friends screen to figure where they are to beat them. Consoles receive games earlier and sometimes the games never release on PC or take months to come to the computer and by the time the game comes to PC there are so many spoilers to the game that would ruin the gaming experience. Overall PC gaming can play games better, have their own exclusives, and have modding capabilities. PC gaming has better in-game performance it also has its own game genre exclusives like the RTS games or Real Time Strategy games like Starcraft 2 a highly popular game. And PC gaming has its own special thing called modding it's a thing that keeps old games alive like for example a game called Skyrim which is 7 years old, basically modding is changing the base part of the game to improve the experience of the game. Consoles are a lot cheaper compared to PC and game play games decently and are easier to obtain than a full setup for a PC. But in the long run PCs may be costly in the

Console gaming has certainly made a huge jump in what it used to be. I can remember the 4 bit days, where Atari's sold out stores. Now you buy a game, and it looks so real, it is like you are actually there. Many people like the controller a console has to offer, or whether they don't feel like spending the time or money using a computer, as they are far more complex.…

To begin, the cost of a computer can fluctuate from a few hundred dollars, to a few thousand dollars. A Macintosh differs from a PC immediately because a Mac is built for media programs. When purchasing a Macintosh computer, there are only three types of systems. Apple offers the iMac, MacBook, and Mac Pro. Each one of these unique machines is prebuilt and increases the cost of the computer drastically. On the other hand, a PC can be purchased in a variety of ways. For example, shopping online you can buy a $700 desktop computer that will satisfy the average user for a few years. In addition, you can select and purchase expensive parts for a gaming computer. A $1,500 customized Personal Computer can be built to run any advanced game with ease. However, a $3,000 MacBook will not be able to function as well as the customized gaming PC, and may encounter problems. The cost of an Apple MacBook will always be more expensive because they are all prebuilt, unlike most Personal Computers. Self-building your own PC has become the cheapest method of all, and allows for interchangeable parts in the future.…

Shelley chose to allow Frankenstein to narrate his own tale for several reasons. For example, a direct effect of this first person narrative is that it lets the reader into the inner thoughts of the main protagonist. This allows us to pass judgement on the choices he makes, the explanations he gives for them and the general way in which he considers his actions and comes to justify them. However, in fitting with the gothic genre of the novel, the decision on whether or not to sympathise with Frankenstein can not be made easily, putting the reader into an uncomfortable, uncertain state of mind. The clever narrative Shelley uses often creates such a feeling of ambiguity, which enhances the horror we come to feel as the book progresses. Whilst the fact that Shelley presents Frankenstein's view first suggests she doesn't want us to totally condemn him, there is also an ironic repulsion we sometimes feel towards him because of the views that he expresses so confidently, despite his attempts to gain sympathy. In this respect, Frankenstein's narration is often more telling of himself than he actually realises.…

Admittedly, Macs were in the market first, and initially were much better than PCs. But it’s time to realize the future of home computing: the PC. All while those who play PC games have hidden in their respective corner, Xbox fanboys and PlayStation geeks have been at a non-stop battle; attempting to prove that their consoles are superior. In the recent installment of the console wars, Xbox One players argue that they take the lead in the battle due to the Xbox having backwards compatibility. Meanwhile, PlayStation 4 (PS4) players argue that they are in the lead because of the vast amount of prestigious exclusive games their console has. Despite the rugged good looks of the two systems, the gamer community is not only worried…
