Why Is Donald Trump Controversial
Interesting Facts about Donald Trump
He is considered cocky, almost larger than life, opinionated, doggedly stubborn, bold, single-mined and insanely rich. Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States is listed among the 500 most affluent people in the world. He seems obsessed with media attention, and certainly makes news in America quite interesting and controversial. There is hardly ever a dull moment!
From his days as a real estate developer, television personality and businessman, Donald J. Trump is no stranger to rash statements, and seems to relish a good public fight. Trump asserts an over-confident persona, and seems bent on attracting and commanding the spotlight everywhere he goes.
While that may be so, he seems to

O’Brien is a typical example of trivia at its best. O’Brien set out to publish facts about his wealth, and Trump made a huge exception and filed a lawsuit against O’Brien. A small section (about 3 pages) of the book challenged Trump’s actual worth and sparked a firestorm in his wealthy cup.
Obsessed with recognition and the need for supremacy, Trump claimed the book tried to ruin his reputation. Notwithstanding that Trump himself gave O’Brien exclusive insights and facts; he nevertheless felt his “public image” superseded the truth. The outcome was apparently more humiliating for Trump, since he opened himself to more public scrutiny about his actual wealth. He actually lost the case, but claimed “victory” anyhow.
Donald Trump’s Beauty Pageants
“Beauty over brains” seems to be another pet peeve with Donald Trump. Not content with every spot in the limelight, Trump apparently demanded exclusive “rights” to contestants in his Miss Universe franchise. The former franchise owner was accused of inappropriate behavior by many contestants over the lifetime of his association with the pageant. As if that were not enough, he apparently could not relate to the charges, simply because he felt

In“Trump’s Bluster Is Heard Around the World,” an article published on Yahoo! Politics by Gregory Katz, sarcastic tone and vivid descriptions portray Donald Trump as a selfish human being to manipulate readers he will not be a good president. Katz’s sarcastic and criticizing tone adds to the negative view of Trump presented in this article;“His is clearly a recognized name worldwide, which is not to say it's a beloved one.” Katz then proves this point by quoting individuals from around the world. In the first description of Trump, a woman who lives next to a Trump resort calls Trump a spoiled “strange fish.” She then describes his toddler-like tantrums, causing an image of diaper wearing Trump whining and flopping for what he wants to pop into our heads. Katz’s next proof is a video of Mexican comedians dressed as Donald Trump performing an act written from his statements. The comedians are all wearing fake guts, Neanderthal clothing, and blonde wigs. Katz writes, “It's striking how many people know of him at all,” as if Trump is some new American celebrity who is just now getting attention for his statements. It is almost impossible to not recognize the Trump name. His name is on everything he owns, and he owns buildings, programs, and boats worldwide. Trump had been known by the world way before he decided to run for president. To end the article and finish his characterization of Trump, Katz writes,“That would be one side of Trump that few if any have seen — one who says ‘sorry’.” Like Buzzfeed and Alphacat, Katz includes mockery of Trump so viewers will chuckle at their possible leader. This humor alongside Katz’s sarcastic and condescending tone alarm readers that Trump is well known, not well…

For example, the Justice Department sued Trump’s real estate company twice for not allowing black people to rent his apartments. The company gave different rental terms and conditions to black people that were unfair. The company also lied to them, saying their were no rooms available. During the presidential debates, Donald was asked about those claims and responded saying how an abundance of other companies have done that as well, as if that makes it okay for a future president to do so. In addition, Donald also attacked Muslim gold star parents verbally. Their son had died serving in the Iraq War. After the father gave a speech at the Democratic National Convention Trump said, “ If you look at his wife, she was standing there. She had nothing to say. She probably, maybe she wasn’t allowed to have anything to say. You tell me.”(Marans, “Here Are 13 Examples Of Donald Trump Being Racist). This remark is racist without a doubt and the effect of these examples are scary. He also accused Hillary Clinton of writing a script for the father which is rude and disrespectful. Unfortunate for Trump, since his term began in January, he has finally realized that he needs actual political knowledge to govern the nation, a thought that had never crossed his mind. Donald John Trump is a business later reality television star and now US presidential candidate. We've all heard it before. But what really stands out to make The real estate mogul different from the presidents in history? Throughout his campaign he has produced a straightforward rhetoric often viewed as offensive and laid a platform where minorities may feel threatened. He has appealed vastly to the Common Man by making promises to bring back jobs shipped off to other countries and to cut business regulations. He's promised to build walls and to lay down strict immigration policies. Much of this appeals to the common working class person, who feels like the Obama Administration in particular did not have their back. However, Trump is one…

When it comes to communication, Donald Trump had a very unique approach. He does not “play it safe” at all. Instead, he is bold and rather casual in debates, and it works. Donald Trump is appealing to a younger crowd beginning with his communication strategy. He talks like he is in high school. He uses his words in a clear way where everyone can comprehend the message he is trying to get across. While it could potentially and did in fact offend people who find themselves more sophisticated, it appealed to the average person. Also, he has sort of mastered exploiting whoever his current opponent is. He proclaims whatever he wants about them, not paying much attention to the truth. For anyone who feels that they have lack of power or are voiceless,…

I don't know very much about him but the things I do know I don't like. If I could vote I think that I would vote Hillary Clinton for president. I would do this because she supports everyone and from what I know she thinks that everyone is equal. I also would vote for her because she could make history and help more people than Donald Trump could. I think that if i could make laws I would let Obama be president for four more years because he has done so many good things for us and he could do more. I think that he will still be helping even if he isn't president because of how good he was at being president.…

Trump was responding to actress Meryl Streep, who criticized the incoming president in a speech at Golden Globes. Compared to the other articles this one appears to be slightly more credible and shows minimal biases as it provides evidence and views both sides of the argument portray. The intentions geared toward the audience are of those who simply want to be aware of the general idea of the crisis but are also on the slightly bias side of supporting the video evidence and that he was responsible. “President- elect Donald trump again denied mocking a reporter for a physical disability in a series of tweets on Monday, even though he clearly appears to have done so while on the campaign trail in 2015.”(Dana Liebelson) , the author summarizing the general idea of the events provides insight on a series of tweets Donald trump was responsible for contradicting the video evidence of him “clearly” doing so during his campaign trail in 2015. Evidence pertaining to the impact left on the reader and society is the fact that trump previously stated that he would never mock a person with a disability because he spends “millions a year, or millions of dollars on ramps, and get rid of the stairs and different kinds of elevators all over”(Dana…
