Why Is Shakespeare Still Popular Today
Over 500 years ago, Shakespeare was created and had became very popular. Shakespeare still exists today and is still very popular and is used almost every day in modern day time. I am going to be writing about the differences between shakespeare back then verses modern day Shakespeare and how similar and different they are from each other. Shakespeare is still important to this day and I am going to be talking about it.
Shakespeare started in the 1500's and was created by William Shakespeare. What is Shakespeare? Shakespeare is a bunch of written plays that were written in the 1500's and were popular back then and are still popular today. However, Shakespeare has changed a lot since then. So, what is different between modern day shakespeare and shakespeare from back then? Shakespeare back then had many different things like they never had playbills. Playbills are the printed out booklets you get everytime you go to see and show and it tells you all about the actors. They also had many playhouses in London which were very popular and many people would come to see the performances for entertainment. Today, playhouses and theatres are not as popular anymore as they used to be. Instead, people go to movie theaters to watch acts on a big screen. Shakespreare today also has playbills which we can read to see who is playing who and who is in the show. One main difference that we do different in Shakespreare is that we have actress who act in plays and shows now. Back then, they would never allow women act because for certain reasons. Today, we have many actress. We also have spotlights and curtains that can close in a push of a button. People back then never had electricity or technology. Technology makes a huge difference for
