The crusades were a major part in the history of the middle ages, many people died for what they believed in. The crusades was a war between the Christian and Muslim faith. The Christians believed that the Muslim religion was growing too fast and was going to take over the Christian faith. Many of the battles were to take control of the Holy Land Jerusalem, and the battles were always bloody and many people died.
