5:00 to 6:00 am and that gives them about two to three hours to plan out and get ready.So this claim is inrelavant, because teachers have plenty of time to rewrite their schedules before the students go into the class room. On the contrast, starting school earlier will allow students to be healthier.
A way they will be healthy is mentally. They will be mentally healthy, because students will not be so vulnerable to depression and obesity. Sleep helps with depression, because if kids are bullied, sleepy, and lazy their minds will get into the idea of depression without fighting it back. And if they are led to depression, then that may lead to suicide and sad and hopeless families who are going to miss their child. Sleep also helps fight back obesity, because if the students are awake and full of energy instead of being tired and lazy. Then, that will maybe encourage them to do a sport or do more physical activity outside of school, possibly go to a gym. Sleep will also protect them from accidents. By accidents I mean traffic accidents. If they get more sleep, they will be more alert and more concentrated while driving, because if they are tired and driving the possibility is that they may take their eyes off the road for one second. And in that one second they could crash or run someone over, either way they are both
terrible. Also, if school starts later in the morning, students will do better in class. They will be able to do this, because if they get more sleep their brains and body will be more awake and concentrated. And if they are more concentrated in class they are more likely to do their work, projects, and homework. Adding on to that, your students will also not fall asleep or lose their train of thoughts. In other words they will stay on topic, focused, and ready to learn more about history, math, reading, you name it. However, this is not possible if they are not getting enough sleep, because of what time school starts. In conclusion, schools should start later in the morning, because students will be healthier and will get better grades. Please consider this opinion, because you’ll see how much your students change if they get more sleep.
