Why Shouldn T Christmas Be Eliminated?
The warmth of a burning fire, the slight smell of cinnamon, and the sweet sound of Christmas music playing in the background is the best feeling. Christmas is a holiday celebrated by many and cherished by a countless amount of people. Some holidays may not be as popular as Christmas, but that does not mean they are any less important. Holidays should not be eliminated because it allows people to celebrate and show their respect and feelings about certain times in American history. ALong with other races that come to America for freedom. The first amendment allows freedom of religion and freedom of speech. Some holidays represent historical figures or events, and many holidays have shaped or continue to shape American culture even though some holidays are only celebrated by few people.
In the United States, we have the ability to express how we feel. Everyone has the right to their own opinion. We can believe or not believe what we want to. The first amendment in the United States Constitution states that Congress is not able to regulate people's religion or speech. Many people celebrate different holidays for many specific reasons. It is not against the law to celebrate an event or a holiday; no matter how popular or small it may be. Sometimes, people celebrate because of a religion or a custom that they follow. Even

We have events in the past that we remember by celebrating with different customs. That is to say, Fourth of July represents the significance of when the U.S. signed the Declaration of Independence. As well as events, there are many people that have contributed a great deal. They as well, deserve to be remembered. For this reason, we celebrate Veteran's Day to honor the brave people that fought and are still fighting for our freedom.
