I believe that Ted Cruz did very well in the debate tonight. He had good arguments and strategies for all questions asked, and debated very well with the other presidential candidates. He is now my favorite candidate. I specifically remember agreeing with him over over Rubio on how to deal with ISIS. He suggested a devastating carpet-bombing of the entire state, where Rubio suggested that we aid Muslims in a civil war against ISIS. I think that Rubio’s approach is a horrible idea because it would just make us more meddlesome and our issue more complicated. I also noticed how multiple republican candidates were subtly trying to put Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton in the same boat, by grouping them together in giving bad examples of policies…

Louie Gohmert is a legislator in the Texas House of Representatives. He often takes a conservative view on situations, such as how he votes for bills and what committees he joins. Gohmert has been a legislature for several sessions now, and has had previous experience in politics prior to being elected to the House. Gohmert also comes from a strong religious background, which no doubt influences the way that he votes. He is considered a republican and has recently announced that he is going to challenge John Boehner, current Speaker of the House, for the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives (On The Issues 2016). Gohmert is not afraid to take a strong stand for the bills that he believes in and speak out against those he does not. He votes for looser control over public schools and claims to be an originalist. Gohmert is sincere in his actions to keep the state conservative, and the actions he takes within his legislative position reflect that (Shook 1973, p 317).…

The reader is given direct statistics from hundreds of sources such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation and other credible references. The Second Amendment is very specific, stating; “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” This is the only amendment to use the words “shall not be infringed.” Beck specifically writes about this American…

He argues that the regulating firearms is against the second amendment. The Supreme Court decided that because of Article 1, Section 8 (the militia clause), that “[i]n the absence of any evidence tending to show that possession or use of a [sawed-off] shotgun . . . has some reasonable relationship to the preservation or efficiency of a well-regulated militia, we cannot say that the Second Amendment guarantees the right to keep and bear such an…

    Why George Should Run

Hunter and Verellen both kept making new points on why George should run instead of Karl. Firstly, that George was a hard worker and would improve and run better than Karl could. Secondly, that Karl has had a few very horrendous races where any of the junior varsity boys could have gone faster and questioned if this could happen again. Lastly, they stated that George has more experience with tougher competition, as they both explained why I made the wrong decision I stared at the words at the white board where “Pros and Cons” rested. Not once did I make eye contact with either of them as they stood like defense attorneys refuting their opposition.…

Mitt Romney is running for President again. Though technically unannounced, the news effectively became public last on the 16th of this month, when Romney just happened to let it slip that he was “seriously considering” another campaign, having said previously that he would make a decision within “weeks, not months.” When a US politician purports to be “considering” a run, it usually means they’ve already started buying up White House-width curtain rails.…

As mayor of Burlington, Bernie’s leadership helped transform Burlington into one of the most exciting and livable small cities in America. Under his administration, the city made major strides in affordable housing, progressive taxation, environmental protection, child care, women’s rights, youth programs and the arts. I side with Bernie Sander; Bernie sanders in my opinion he has what it takes to be our next president. Mr. Sanders and I agree on many situations going on in our world today, the environment, foreign policy, the economy, healthcare, education etc. Mr. Sanders is a democratic who agrees that environmental actions should be taken; for example Mr. Sanders thinks national parks should be preserved and protected by the federal government. Mr. Sanders response was “yes, and the government should protect more land” there are other reasons why Bernie Sanders on different issues of the world are very self-explanatory. I least agree with Gary Johnson on many things, Mr. Johnson stand on abortion is pro-choice which is when the women decides what she wants to do with the baby.…

An assiduous dissension among American citizens pertains to the topic of abortion. Many believe abortion to be an inhumane and immoral decision, where others see no immorality or ill justification of the topic. On November 13th, the Supreme Court agreed to hear a case dealing with this very issue. While some argue over the moral convictions of abortion, this case focuses on the health of women and their reproductive system. The author of the article “Abortion, Back at the Supreme Court” argues that the decision of the Fifth Circuit was based on an unjustifiable desire to deter women from seeking abortions.…

Good morning everyone today I will talk about why Donald Trump should not be elected president of the United States. I think Donald Trump will never be elected president of U.S.A as he is making all of these crazy ideas like proposing to build a wall between Mexico and America and making Mexico pay for it. He also always thinks he is correct and has a hard time admitting that he is wrong. He plans to ban all Muslims until he knows what is going on and better security precautions are made.…
