In the book “Wonder” by RJ Palacio, tells a story about a little boy with a deformed face who faces school with lots of kids. The book and the movie have a lot of differences and similarities. The movie is based off of the book and there's a lot of twists and turns in it.

RJ Palacio was inspired to make the book after taking her son to get ice cream when they saw a child with treachery, Collins Syndrome.
