“Wonder” By Raquel J Palacio, Is a fiction of the perspective of a young boy named August.
August was born with a birth defect, and understands that his appearance is not normal, he has also overcome the stares in public. As the weather changes, August goes through some life changes as well.

August is 10 years old and living a life on a straight line. He is homeschooled because he has had twenty seven surgeries in his life. His parents want to protect August keeping him out of school.
