I am certain, Proverbs 31 was not written to make a good bedtime poem, but more so to be a reminder of what our true identity is. It doesn't say only a selected few can attain this level of awesomeness, it doesn't give details on how to become her, it only gives us a vivid image of a woman who has used her potential wisely and as a result, she has accomplished excellence and success. I strongly trust that are carriers of all the attributes described in the passage, but the burdens of life have suppressed our capabilities. The good new is: your circumstance, your past, or your pain will not take from you everything that you were born with. You were created to be a hardworking, caring, loving, intelligent, self-dependent, and full of faith. You were meant to excel, to be extraordinary. Your value has no comparison. Let me add, I am not who declares it, your maker does. Yes, there is a creator. Yes, he loves you. Yes, you are his masterpiece. No, he's not finished with you yet- it's a work in progress. When you were created, the artist went above and beyond on the details. He equipped you with every possible tool to overcome any challenge. For this reason, you are alive today and reading a blog about how valuable you are. He knew every single skill you needed to be that superwoman. He empowered you and filled you with grace and favor.
