You Have the Opportunity to Visit a Foreign Country for Two Weeks. Which Country Would You Like to Visit? Use Specific Reasons and Details to Explain Your Choice.
It would be great to get an opportunity to visit a foreign country for two weeks. If I had such a chance to visit a foreign country, I would no hesitate to choose Britain. The main reason why I would choose Britain as my destination is that I want to visit London and Cambridge.

London, the capital of the United Kingdom, is one of modern cities in the world. There are rich art and culture matters in London. It often draws my attention with its theaters, museums, and art galleries. I often listen to the musical, The Phantom of the Opera, on the radio and dream that I could go to the theater to take pleasure in the musical. Not only the musical, but also the numbers of museums and galleries in London attract me. Take the famed museum, the British Museum, for example. I could see many historical heritages gathering from all over the world there. Moreover, London has a good public transportation system, underground and double-deck bus. I could go any places via the convenient underground and do sightseeing by bus. In my opinion, London is not just the capital of the United Kingdom, but a wonderful city worthy to visit.

The second city of Britain I would like to visit is Cambridge, well known for its university. A Chinese poet wrote several poems describing the beautiful sights about the town and the River Cam, and I am enchanted with those poems. I often image that I could meander along the historic street and sit on the side of the River Cam to enjoy the sunlight and breeze.

Of course, there are other countries I could visit if I had the opportunity to visit a foreign country for two weeks. However, I think Britain would be my first

Firstly, I would treasure visiting England because I would travel to London, the capital of England and is considered to be one of the most sophisticated places in the world. Another cousin of mine got to study abroad there and has “mastered the art” of observing the whole city in two days! I would also love to tour the Beatles museums and walk down Abbey Road because their music is as beautiful as one’s childhood. Secondly, I would want to journey England on my European adventure is because I would travel to the primary beach town in England, Brighton. Brighton would be an incredible place to go because not only do they have a beach, but they have charming shops and restaurants that are widely known all throughout England. The final place I would visit in England while on my Europe trip is the city of Oxford. This city would be so pleasant to go to because of their college, Oxford University, which is one of my dream colleges. C.S. Lewis’ house is also present where you can explore the house and examine where he wrote his most widespread series, Narnia. As a result, my respect for England and my yearning to go there brings me back to my desire to travel through…

All in all I would never want to take up residence in another country; I have heard several horror stories about most other countries. I would live in England, Europe, Ireland, and a few others for a while, but would always come back to the U.S. Even though there are a bunch of crazies floating around, we do have the best resources for import and export trade of foods and crops, we are the strongest world leader, and we have cleaner streets and sanitary water supplies. We have better technology than a lot of countries, and for heaven sake…

I would be a fool to sit here and choose one place when there are so many beautiful countries, islands, cities, and even states that I have never visited. Secondly, I love traveling to other countries. I love visiting new places because I can experience different cultures and meet different people who I wouldn't normally get to meet. When I go abroad, I really get the feeling that I'm living in a big world and that all my worries are so small and pointless. It would be great to go to a country I have never been to before. Barcelona is a city that has beautiful beaches and is known for having sunny and clear weather, so if I had a chance of going to any country I wanted to, I'd choose Barcelona as my ideal vacation location.…
