Taking all of her studies and experience into account, I believe that we can. Although faking it until we make it isn’t what Cuddy really wants. She wants people to fake it until they become it. Her body language was strong through most of the speech, she cowered through certain areas but I don’t feel as though it took away what she was trying to get across to the audience. She had shown, in many different ways, how people have overcome the obstacles in front of them. She even included a personal story. She had been in a car accident when she was 19, had a serious head injury, and had a hard time with school after that. She had been told that college may not be for her anymore, but she persisted and earned a college degree. It may have taken her longer than her peers, but she did it. She had graduated college, but it wasn’t until her first year at Harvard that it really hit her. She had a student come into her office saying that she shouldn’t be there.
