To asses the overall validity of the business idea, an analysis of the Zipcar case was conducted. The service will be convenient, easy to use, offer freedom of travel without incurring in high costs and reduce the negative environmental impact that driving incurs. They had a well structure planned with clear goals, a well developed strategy on how to achieve the goals and a great action plan on how to be developed.
The revenue stream was well executed, the company income will be driven by charging hours and daily usages of the car to the users. The biggest challenge was to implement the billing technology and retrieval of the car.
