He died when he was 49 but before his death, he was still a ruler. Emperor Shi Huangdi did not treat his people well. The people of the Qin Dynasty were under absolute control and had to serve harsh punishments if they did something bad. Even though, Emperor Shi Huangdi was a mean and harsh ruler, he made a lot of great Changes for China and the whole world. A couple changes are that Shi Huangdi unified government and protected his people from invaders.
