Many people died during the process of building the wall, The wall was also very expensive to build. But, without the wall, many people would have died because of war or attacks because of the Mongols. Also, because of the wall, China grew rich because of the trade on Silk Road so they made up the money for which the wall took to build. People would have been sent to war with bad conditions more often and more times without the wall. The wall gave soldiers an advantage in battle. This is why the benefits in building the wall were greater than the cost.
In conclusion, the benefits outweighed the cost in building the Great Wall of China because it protected China, allowed it to grow in many aspects, and it created a better safety system. China has many achievements which let them become rich and as impacted the world to this date.
