K-12 Summary
Statement of the Problem:
The popularity of fast food restaurants is growing every day. People can buy a whole meal for just minutes of preparing them, its either they can take home or dine in. Fast food restaurants are popular among students. One example is Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) in Morayta. Fast food restaurants is growing because of the low cost, the fast service, and fast food chains are available anywhere. Students can also save a lot of time.
The population of college students is high, do fast food restaurants can accommodate them and maintain their healthy facilities, including their foods. Many students report that they are now experiencing low maintenance around the place, especially in KFC Morayta. Most students complain about the place is being too crowded, unpleasant smell of comfort room, old lavatory, faucets and toilet bowls.

In response to these problems, our study proposes to investigate options for making Kentucky Fried Chicken more student friendly. We plan to renovate the place, add more tables and chairs, and make extend its facilities. We will also consider budget friendly ways to solve the problems mentioned above such as lavatory, faucets and toilet bowls.

Root causes of the problems:

We can consider why and how the problems noted above arises. 1.) The complain about the place is being too crowded, it is because of growing population of students, especially in Far Eastern University, and since Kentucky Fried Chicken is just in front of the University, it is usually the students first choice to eat at. 2.) Many students also use their comfort room and lavatory area a lot. We can say that due to students or other people lack of discipline, the faucets, lavatory and toilets are getting destroyed.

Dining halls are a convenient place for students to meet and socialize with each other. Building community is a very important part of LUC’s mission and by improving the dining experience for the students; it builds community and works toward the “student promise” that is so stressed by the University. The main thing we bonded over was the gross food and dirty dining halls though.” This is not the reputation that LUC is striving for; increasing good hygiene in the halls will only in turn improve the quality of the food and the atmosphere.…
