BIOGRAPHICAL CHARACTERISTICS
• Biography: A biography (from the Greek words bios meaning "life", and graphos meaning
"write") is an account of a person's life.
• Biographical characteristics represent many of the SURFACE-LEVEL aspects of diversity that are very easy to identify.
• Personal Characteristics – such as age, gender, race and tenure – that are objective and easily obtained from personal records.

Older workers bring experience, judgment, a strong work ethic, and commitment to quality.

the older we get the less likely we will quit because the are limited job opportunities and we are also sitting on higher benefits.
