One fast step after the other

Running is the most natural enjoyable exercise a human can take part in. Running is easy one step after the other is all that is needed for a relaxing experience. People always say running is painful, and hard, overall just a negative experience, and no one should spend their time doing it. But don’t always believe what people say without experiencing it yourself first. Because in this case they are wrong, there are specific steps that you can take to make running an enjoyable experience, and I am going to share those with you. Running isn’t just about taking one step after the other; your mind set is what will get you running.
The two main steps to running are too first learn how to enjoy it, and second how to maintain a healthy body while doing it. If you’re lacing up early every morning in a negative mood, might as well take your shoes off and go back to sleep. To be able to enjoy running you must be up for it, up for the challenge, to push your body to its limit. One step after the other in a way is what running is all about, but the real challenge will be against your self. Making running an enjoyable everyday activity is not easy, you will make excuses for yourself, not going on a run because your leg hurts, is going to be common excuse for you to say. You may have opponents in the race, and your legs will get tired, but if you have the right mindset, nothing can stop you. That’s what running is about. Running is just as easy to hate than it is to love, you must learn to fight through the pain, and push through it. And then it will by far be a lot more fun to love, take my word for it. The benefits that running will give you are life lasting, you will feel healthier, stronger, and you won’t get tired doing basic everyday activities, like walking up the stairs, or even taking the dogs out for a walk. Fitness is a gift you can earn by running.
Furthermore although your mind set is the most important thing to get you

I haven’t stopped running since May of 2013, and truth be told, I’m getting kind of tired of it. Not of the sweat, the fact that my legs are constantly sore, the nuisance of cycling all of my workout clothes through the wash every week, or even the fact that I still look like the skinniest guy in the gym. No, I’m getting tired of all the other baggage that’s come with it.…

Participating on the Sutton High School cross country team has been one of the most rewarding yet stressful experiences of my life. For the past five years the Sutton cross country team has been a second home to me and season after season I return thirsting to vanquish a competitive fire. Although I'm ecstatic about competing this year, I was not always this happy about running. Five years ago I decided to try out for a sports team that involved less hand eye coordination (seeing how I have none) and tried out for the cross country team at my school. Almost immediately did I find out that a simple task like running could become much more strenuous not only on my legs and lungs but on the mind. While my body adjusts to the challenges of dirt…

“Every day is a good day when you run.” Kevin Nelson, who wrote The Runner's Book of Daily Inspiration, could not have been envisioning the mercurial weather of Rhode Island. As a three-sport athlete in Cross Country, Indoor Track and Outdoor Track, there is a certain commitment that one must have to be able to compete year-long in New England. Runners will often sugarcoat their feelings about running by saying it’s thrilling, satisfying and even fun. Although it can be personally fulfilling, it takes a lot of hard work, determination and perseverance to be an accomplished runner.…
