Abstract This experiment is to study the effect of temperature on the rate of reaction between potassium permanganate with oxalic acid. We used 2cm3 of 0.02M potassium permanganate and 4cm3 of 1M sulphuric acid into a test tube. In another test tube‚ we placed 2cm3 of oxalic acid. We placed the test tubes in a water bath at 40‚ 45‚ 50‚ 55 and 60oC respectively. When the solutions have attained these temperatures pour the oxalic acid into the acidified permanganate solution and recorded the time

OBSERVATIONS As the solution boiled in the first step it kept changing color getting darker from clear to yellow to orange. During the boiling I can see the two layers forming separating into organic and aqueous with a line in between‚ as the solution boiled more and more the organic phase kept growing little by little. In the final filtration‚ after 20ml of collected organic phase we did a short path column to collect the amount of the liquid wanted but this step took a lot of time since the increased temperature

Spiritual Gifts *** Bible text used: Romans 12:3-8‚ 1 Peter 4:10-11‚ 1 Corinthians 12 14‚ Ephesians 4:7-13*** I. We’d all go around encouraging people‚ but there would be no one to evangelize (preach the gospel) to others who are not yet saved. b. And‚ the same

Polymerization reaCTIONS polymers are high-molecular-weight compounds‚ fashioned by the aggregation of many smaller molecules called monomers. Ex. plastics that have so changed society and the natural and synthetic fibers used in clothing are polymers. Classification of polymers Homopolymers - consist of repeated long chains or structures of the same monomer unit. Ex. PVC(polyvinyl chloride) Copolymers - polymers that consist of more than one molecule. Trimers - molecules consisting
