1. Collaborator
The term collaboration is essentially a style of interaction that can enhance problem-solving and planning activities between you and one or more others. This style of communication is a new technique that teacher should adopt and a variety way to conduct their teaching activity. The concept of a teacher as a collaborator seems very influential and significant. The aim is to encourage the learner to learn autonomously as part of collaborative learning and empowering hands on exercises. As a collaborator, you need to set some norms and behavior to your students and vice versa by means of presenting your ability and mindset to others. Your communication skills will help you reach this goal by more interactive and sharing style.
2. Innovator
Technically, innovation is defined as introducing something new that needs to be better than before. A fresh thinking that creates a value. We all know that education seems to be in a constant flux of change. As a teacher innovator, you should open for a new perspectives and development addressing the improvement strategy of education and through learners’ capacity. Many educators feel that innovation is directly tied up by the used of brand new technology. But for me, using technology every day and being innovative aren't the same. Teacher-Innovators are teachers who have the synthesizing and creative minds. It is more on the ability to integrate ideas, or recreates or repackages an old idea to have different effect change in any given context.
3. Facilitator
In education, facilitation makes the learners responsible for their own learning. This is not the old type of teaching that we just depends on teachers’ knowledge and wisdom. It’s the other way around where the students engaging to lead with a new understanding within themselves. Teacher as a facilitator provide opportunities for students to learn key concepts and discover the tools that they need for learning.
