Many little pieces make up the puzzle that completes me. I have determined that my past does not define me, but it does effect who I am, and whom I have become today. I have had many trials and tribulations though out my life. I have acquired many bumps, bruises, and scares along my path and I know they will be more to come, but nothing should keep me from continuing to move forward. I am someone's daughter, mother and wife. Those titles are blessings and mean so much more than a word. I am important to someone and they need me. In high school, we had gone out a few times due to mutual friends, but never really hit it off. I was not looking for anyone, I was content with living on my own with my son. So, when this guy approached me to ask if I wanted to go out sometime, I just took it with a grain of salt. I gave him my number, even though I thought about giving him the wrong one. After a few times hanging out, we realized we connected more than we thought we would, things just came naturally.
