My goals are to earn concurrent undergraduate degrees, a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with two concentrations, Justice Studies and Political Science, and a B.S. in Political Science, with endeavors to attend Law School. Achieving these goals entails utilization of resources at ASU Online as needed, proper planning and execution of plans in order to earn the highest GPA possible. Additionally, I strive to procure as many scholarships as possible to assist with financial need. This also serves to lower work hours as financial resources earned through scholarships translates to less time necessary for work. I’ll continue to focus on planning, being proactive, utilizing technology to assist with academics, and work through individual tasks, one step at a time. The best tools I’ve found for organizing and prioritizing my work are OneNote and my calendar. Further, this plan itself serves as a useful tool for meeting goals as it may be used as a reference point. Similarly, I’ll avoid looking at the totality of circumstances, rather, I’ll strive to separate aspects of life and tackle one thing at a time to reduce my stress level and keep from getting overwhelmed. I’ll continue to stay positive, keeping in mind there are no such things as "problems", there are only "challenges"….and all "challenges" are "opportunities" for me to stretch myself outside of my comfort zone.
