Max, a labradoodle, is crying in the lab. He just got sprayed with perfume. He is now passed out after inhaling the perfume. A scientist comes back the next day to find Max dead. He puts Max in a dumpster. All around the world, cosmetics are tested on animals like Max. Animal testing is cruel because it harms animals. On average, 100 million animals die a year from animal testing. In this essay, you will learn that animal testing is expensive, cruel, and not always reliable. Animal testing is negative because it reflects badly on humans and on animals.

However, creating a situation where an animal is crying and getting sprayed with perfume is simply torturous and unacceptable. It is true that animal testing is cruel and inhumane. First, animal testing can kill animals. In fact, the scientists do not feed the animals after they are tested. This is terrible and inhumane. “About 100 million animals die each year due to animal testing,” according to procon.org. They die because the chemical in the product that they are testing is deadly.” 95% of the animals are not protected by the animal welfare act.” 95% is a large amount of animals that are being tested. When they are tested, they are not treated right. “They keep them in small rooms with different animals,” states procon.org. “They also feed the same food with the other animals,” (ProCon.org). They also make the animals go to sleep with a shot according to, Fox news. Animal testing does not always help humans. First, millions of animals are in labs, where they are experimented on and live in constant pain as well as fear of when the next horrible testing will occur. “ Nine out of ten tests fail to cure medicines and cosmetics, states PETA. “We do not know what will happen in an human if an animal dies from it,” (PETA). Most of the best people work on lab animals not people, states

There are a lot of bad things that happen in this world and Animal Testing is one of them. Doctors,Scientists and other people test on these animals everyday. In my opinion there should be no animal testing at all. It is cruel. Right now there are millions of animals sitting in cold cages waiting for their next painful procedure. The stress, sterility and boredom causes them to develop neurotic behaviors such as, biting themselves and running around in circles. Most of these animals are killed after the testing because there is no possible way for them to live after this has happened. More than 100 million animals suffer this torture. Exact numbers have not been found, in rats, mice, birds, and cold blooded animals take up about 90 percent.…

In these experiments, there are tons of sources of error. They do not live in a human-like environment, instead they are confined and distressed. Secondly, researchers deliberately infect the animals with diseases they would not normally contract, after being healthy to begin with. Many drugs have varying results between different animals, and animals and humans. For example, penicillin kills guinea pigs, but does nothing to rabbits. According to the food and drug administration, 92% of drugs that pass animal tests fail human tests. Some chemicals that are harmful to animals are okay for humans, as well as the other way around. Animals are being sacrificed for experiments that don’t even have accurate or useful results. If the regulations for the environment test animals live in are enforced, it can reduce some of the factors that make an experiment not a fair…

Animal testing can prevent humans from becoming ill or hurt. The companies won’t send out something until it shows no harm to the animal, that’s when it proves safe. But at what cost? They are hurting animals so that humans won’t get hurt. In some ways that might be considered heroic, but it isn’t fair to the animals. They don’t deserve to be hurt. Animal testing is cruel.…

Animal testing is cruel and inhumane. Common animals used in research labs are rats and mice. Animals are subjected to experiments that deal with drug testing, disease infection, maiming, and some painful invasive procedures. There are fairly high casualty rates before the studies are concluded and many animals are disposed off after the study is completed because they are no longer of use. Common lab procedures that require extensive training are anesthetization, intubation and euthanasia.…

Animal testing is bad because it deals with the issue of animal cruelty. It is often argued that these tests cause a lot of pain to the animals and the condition in which they are held captive for experimentation is not at all safe nor healthy for the animals. It also causes animals suffer for the rest of their lives and then they die. This means that afterwards animals aren’t any more active in doing their own things because all of them get locked and stay in cold, barren cages in laboratories and so therefore they can do nothing. But on the other hand there are some people who say testing animals is a good idea because both animals and humans benefit for animals getting experimented…

One reason that animals testing is wrong is because of how inhumane it is. According to ProCon.org, “The Draize eye test, used by cosmetics companies to evaluate irritation caused by shampoos and other products, involves rabbits being incapacitated in stocks with their eyelids held open by clips, sometimes for multiple days, so they cannot blink away the products being tested.” This just shows how inhumane the tests performed on animals can be. ProCon.org states that animals are put through experiments that require them to be force-fed or deprived from water and food. ProCon.org also discusses how many animals are…

Romanticism Period originated in England in 1798 and quickly spread from there to the rest of Europe and America. Romanticism emphasized everything that the previous age had not: feelings, emotions, -- the heart over the head – mysticism and instinct, natural man over the civilized man. Percy Byshhe Shelley painted the primer for the Romanticism era. He was able to prepare other Romantic Writers to pursue their beliefs as seen in their literature pieces.…
