Most of the animals in captivity have never seen sunlight, all they have known are steel cages and concrete. What happens in those laboratories have no limits unless said by the faculty itself. They will starve these animals for days on end to get the result they want even if that means killing the animal. “They experience ongoing mental and physical suffering from the endless boredom, confinement, fear, and emotional stress of daily laboratory life. Add to this the fear and agony of a procedure, and only then can we start to understand the desperation and pain in which they live, every day—and for most, for their entire lives.” ("Harm and Suffering | Animal Use in Research." No experiment, no matter how painful or trivial, is prohibited – and pain-killers are not required. Even when alternatives to the use of animals are available, the law does not require that they be used—and often they aren’t.” (Cruelty to Animals in Laboratories." PETA. PETA. Web. 29 Oct. 2015.) These animals receive no love, no compassion ever in their lives. All they know is hate and cruelty and our law allows these inhumane people to walk freely in their day, and make a profit from this slaughter. Methods exist that can make it so no Animals are no longer harmed in this process. Animal Testing is also more expensive than these other outlets and are a waste of the government dollars. “The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) reported in 2010 that 97,123 animals suffered pain during experiments while being given no anesthesia for relief, including 1,395 primates, 5,996 rabbits, 33,652 guinea pigs, and 48,015 hamsters.” ("Animal Testing - ProCon.org." ProConorg Headlines. Web. 13 Nov. 2015.) Extensive and Unnecessary murders is what “Animal Testing” should be called. No Animal should have to suffer this life just for being born. One should always be merciful to one of nature's
