Animal Testing Is Necessary
Have you ever wondered where your medicine, household products or cosmetics come from and how they are tested to see if they are safe for human use? Because animals are being misused and eventually slaughtered, animal testing should be illegal. Animal testing was started at an early age. There are many different types of products scientists test on animals and different types of animals they use. There is a long testing process. Also it’s just plain wrong and should be banned.
Animal testing was originated in the 17th century. Aristotle started his research when he opened up chicken embryos. He opened them up in the main stage of the development inside the eggs. Twenty-two million animals are tested on and die in labs every year. Millions of animals are locked in barren cages. All they can do is wait to be tortured again and again each day until their bodies can’t take it anymore. William Harvey, an English physician and he studied some of Aristotle's results in animal testing.

The testing process is long and unrealistic. Animal testing should be banned in all states. Since they are human products researchers are testing, fing human volunteers and test the products on them. Don’t bring animals into our problems. Some people see animal testing as cruel and evil, while others think it as okay and necessary. Always remember and think about when you brush your teeth at night or when you are cleaning your house about the sacrifice it took to make that simple product.
