• Invite one or more children to find and touch Annie Apple on the Letterland Alphabet Frieze.
• Say: I can see an apple on this page. This apple is very special. That is because she is a Letterland apple. Can you see her smiling face inside her letter? She got a lovely name. Her name is Annie Apple. Can you say that? Annie Apple.
• That acrobat is smiling at Annie Apple. I think she wants to show her that atlas in her hand. The atlas has maps in it. It might even tell us how to get to Letterland.
• How many animals can you see? An alligator? That is an animal. Can you see an anteater as well? That is another animal.
