A witch doctor was originally a type of healer who treated people believed to have been cursed by witchcraft back in the 1800’s. It is currently used to ‘heal’ people in third world regions who use traditional healing rather than doctors and medicine. In some societies a witch doctor is sometimes used to cure gay people and people who believe in a different god than them, or don’t believe in a god at all.
Some people believe that being healthy is exercising and regular healthy meals, but unbeknown to them it also includes your sleep, social life, housing conditions and so on. Sleep has a big impact on your health as when you don’t get the recommended 8 hours of sleep a day then your brain doesn’t function properly and beings to forget things and overwork. Your social life helps your brain develop as you develop relationships because you learn how to communicate with others every day.
