I want to take part in Biotechnology Program in International University- Vietnam National University since I have such a great interest in this area and this advantages this course provides. I believe that this is necessary for my future career. Moreover, I know that I have that I can finish this course with good result.
When I am a 10th grade student, I had the opportunity to travel to the factory of Ajinomoto, and when I visited their laboratory, I saw some experiments were being processed. It immediately had me attracted. People wearing white lab coat, complicated machines were working, and I just knew that I was born to work in that kind of environment. After that trip, I spend a lot of time watching clips about the experiments, especially those are biological since I am keen of that area. Moreover, I once went to the Biological Lab in National University of Singapore. The modern equipment, the professional behavior of those students really impressed me. They made me want to be like them one day. Therefore, I decided to be a biotechnological engineering.
After a long time searching, I found out the Biotechnology training program of International University. This course is really out-standing from the other similar courses from other University since it includes a large part of practical lesson instead of theory lesson only. Furthermore, this course let the learners have chances to interact with modern equipment, professional lecturers in order to improve not only their knowledge and skill but also their self-confidence. For example, this course is managed to teach learners how to use and take care of the microscopy most effectively, this increase the ability, productivity but more important, the confidence of those learners since they are absolutely better than the other colleagues in whatever the job require, not just theory only.
I am, personally, not so excellent but, I definitely can spend much more than others. Not just time,

Plutarch’s view of Cleopatra and Antony’s relationship is likely to be a biased one; given his background as a Greek with Roman citizenship (http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/465201/Plutarch - Accessed 6th November 2008), Roman opinions will have influenced him. Also, Plutarch was writing over 100 years after Cleopatra’s death; his passage cannot be a primary source.…

I was introduced to the field I am interested in from my 9th grade biology class. Prior to the course, I had never taken biology or any science, for that matter, that had captured my attention such as this year-long experience. I was intrigued by the subject and fascinated with all the advances in society that have been made by scientists throughout the years. The possibility of being able to do this in the future kept me engaged and I further pursued this interest by currently taking AP Biology. In addition, I was inspired by the change that scientists can make through research and…

While the academic careers of Aziz Sancar and Paul Modrich are certainly fascinating and astounding, to me it was actually one of the least important parts of the story. I’ve always held a stereotype of a scientist: One in which there is a gray-haired man hunched over in a lab alone, slowly driving himself insane over his research. While that life might be paradise for some scientists, I know for a fact that I would personally find it a living hell to be confined to a lab all day and every day. This concern over fulfilling the scientist stereotype has been one of my chief concerns with my choice of major: Will I end up a piece of lab equipment? Reading the stories of these two men have given me a bit of confidence that I won’t become part of the furniture in the lab.…

Growing up, seeing my mother and godmother aspiring to become medical assistants began to enhance my interest in the medical field. Skimming through their textbooks intrigued me on how the human body is extremely complex yet I found it to be so captivating. As time progressed, I became even more intrigued in pursuing a career in the medical field. Thus, when I was accepted to Hillcrest High School’s Pre-Med Program I was elated to see that I was now one step closer. Taking rigorous science courses such as Anatomy, Med-Lab and Microbiology, heightened my enthusiasm as I had finally begun to prepare for my future endeavours. Conducting experiments such as pig dissections, growing bacteria on a petri dish and others intoxicated me with excitement for…

Sitting on a colorful rug and listening to my pre-kindergarten teacher, who happened to be my aunt, read books from Dr. Seuss was first memory of learning to read. She would read word by word slowly and show us what she was reading and of course she would show off the pictures. She finished reading and now we are sitting at our tiny tables learning how to write alphabet and numbers. Those are the first memories I have of learning to read and write.…

When I was in fifth grade, I decided that I wanted to go to MIT, Caltech, or Stanford. At the time, I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to do, only that I wanted to make a change, like William Lindesay. By the time sixth grade started, I had a vague idea of something involving both medicine and technology. A few months later, I had a moment of epiphany: I wanted to invent a method or equipment for doctors to flawlessly measure the amount of medicine to prescribe to patients of specific conditions.…

Part of my interest in microbes eventually led to me interning at a lab at my local university. Instead of working on viruses and acne, I worked with bacteria and antibiotic resistance. Still learning about the itty bitty squishy parts of life and their weird chemicals is pretty cool.
