BFCCPS Graduation Speech
Hello students, faculty, and families of BFCCPS. As my classmates and I stand here before you tonight, I imagine we are all thinking very different things. Some of us are excited, others sad, and some scared. Maybe not at this moment, but at some point we have all thought about the time we have spent at BFCCPS and how our years at this unique school have changed us. Whether you arrived as a nervous kindergartener or a confident middle schooler, the opportunities we have been given, and the lessons we have learned have shaped each and every one of us into the people we are today, and more importantly, the people we will become in our futures.
Eight years ago: A terrified kindergartener walking through the halls of BFCCPS for the first time. Little did I know I would be here nearly nine years later speaking to all of you about that day. I was shy and nervous, but over time, with the help of Mrs. Sette and Mrs. Fox, I became more comfortable with my surroundings. For all of us, kindergarten held many firsts. It was the first year we would switch classes. Mrs. Bien was the math and science teacher and Dr. Kelly was the english and history teacher. In science, we were put into teams to try and figure out a submarine mission. We all had different jobs and worked in teams to complete a mission where the submarine must travel deep into the ocean to study coral reefs. In history class, we had to perform a assembly. We decided to form groups and put together a video where we acted out different scenes having to do with the Aztecs, who we had learned about that year. My group performed an Aztec style cooking show, where the loser was put to the death. The assembly was a hit, just like fifth grade had

    Some of them were the states project and country project. Every Friday in 5th grade we use to have pod 4 which meant that in the afternoon all of the three classes would get together and do some of the activities.
