Beach
White Foam A place of complete tranquility seems to be different for everyone. I enjoy the sight of waves crashing and thick white foam. Sometimes the waves seem to be roaring and at other times barely rolling. Thats one reason why I like the beach, its always a mystery. A complete getaway from the concrete jungle we live in and a place to just relax with nature, thats the beach. Theres always the grainy sand that seems to make its way into everything and then the humid salty air that seems to paint a layer onto your body when you get out, but those are such small prices to pay considering how much the ocean has to offer. On hot summer days the sun warms up the sand so much that it burns your feet by the time you reach the water. The infinite amount of towels and beach umbrellas that stretch out for miles makes it hard to find a perfect spot. The water always seems cold at first when you dip your toes in but as the ocean sucks you in farther it begins to feel natural. I can stay in the water for hours on end without getting tired or bored, it almost feels like a second nature. The ocean, in a way can be seen as a machine of its own constantly producing and forming waves. The constant flow of energy present in the ocean always seems to excite me.

The birds are another aspect that really makes the beach experience vivid. There are so many different types of birds and the way they fly together is always something to admire. The seagulls which are the most common soar through the sky skimming the top the of the ocean water. They always seem to be up to something whether it be looking for food or simply wandering the beach. Besides the seagulls, there are all the other creatures that live in the environment which are present from time to time. The sand crabs, jellyfish, and the random fish and dolphins that you see once in a great while always make the ocean more interesting. From the top, the ocean looks so plain and blue but from under, the true colors

One of the first things I noticed when I stepped onto the beach is that the sand shimmers and sparkles. It is more of a dark brown color and the sand is very fine and gritty. The waves crash right on the shore and the beach slopes upward. It is not a very wide beach, about fifty feet wide at the widest point and the beach slopes upward towards the backyards of the homes along the beach. Many of the trees that are growing on the boundaries of the beach homes have their roots exposed where the sand has eroded from the tides. The color of the ocean is a brownish mixture probably from the sediments that wash down from the river and the dark sand of the coastline. About five hundred yards out beyond the pier the water changes to green, gray, and blue color. The water is probably pretty deep and there does not appear to be any reef outside. That is probably the reason the waves only break at shore. As I walked along the beach I saw many things like kukui nuts in all the various processes of aging. They varied from a light brown color all the way to a dark…

When my telephone rings, I do the experiment of answering it: sometimes its a hot girl; sometimes it is a telemarketer. Even if we know which is more likely, we never know for sure. I called a girl last night and she immediately exclaimed "we were just talking about you!"; we are quite surprised when the measurement of picking up the phone has even the slightest predictability, such as being the person about whom we were just speaking. Picking up the phone is quite an interesting experiment to do.…

Have you ever been to Florida? Or out of the country? Or even been covered in mud from head to toe? A Day at the Beach in Florida Have you ever been in water so clear you can see your feet anywhere you go? I have. The sky was pure blue and it was a perfect day to go to the beach. As the children are playing water polo they are attempting to dodge the massive waves coming to the shore. The sound of the waves is so relaxing however, knowing there are young children near the powerful waves makes me nervous and on the lookout for one of them not returning above the waves. I understand the fun in dodging the waves because that was something I lived for as a child but it can be very dangerous. The touch of the soft, white sand on my feet is a feeling I will never forget. Personally, I think it is better than the feeling of soft carpet on your feet. The smell of the ocean's salt water is not one of my favorites but I adapt to it after sitting on the beach for so long. I just sit there and take in all the beautiful scene around…

We enjoyed the atlantic ocean, the warm white sand, and the scorching hot sun. We could hear the huge waves crashing into the sandy shore. We could also hear the lively chatter of the people on the beach. The smell of the salty ocean and the banana boat sunscreen overtook the air with mass quantities of the two smells combined. The touch of the hot sand on your feet and the rough seashells on shore. The best part of the day was when me and my brother went kayaking for an hour out into the deep blue sea. It took fifteen long minutes to fight our way over the…

The beach is a beautiful scene of peace and tranquility. Every moment is a different scene. My Trip

The first reason why this is my most memorable trip is because of the beach itself. It was so peaceful and the ocean was so blue and beautiful. I found a lot of seashells in different shapes and sizes. I also saw some jellyfish and crabs. I stayed on the beach the whole day and watched the sun set. By the time night had fallen, people started to fish near the shore line. I stood back watching, curious of the types of fish they would catch from the ocean. After watching for about an hour, I witnessed the people catch a baby shark. I thought it was crazy that a shark was so close to shore and I was so surprised because I had never seen anything like that.…
