In this book, there is a boy named auggie who is deformed and try’s to fit in at his new school. Where nobody knows him and he is afraid because he knows that everyone will stare at him because he looks diffrent then them.
Auggies experience was a good influence on his life because he found some good friends that are nice and respectful to him. He does some nice things with them and help each other with things that they need help with.
Whenever one of auggies friends need help he will be there to help them for his friends. But if beechers prep had a negative impact on auggie he would be mean, not social, not an outdoor person, and wouldent help any of his friends with anything no matter what. But since it had a positive impact
on him he is very nice and thoughtful to every one he meets.
Although some people might think that his experience was negative, there are some points in the book where auggie has had some outbursts but mostly he was positive throughout the book. But you could go either way in my opinion though he was more positive then negative because of his actions in the story. Exept for pg 273 in the book where he said its so wierd that when you have one of the worst nights its just a normal night for other people.
The ways you could tell it had a positive impact on him by reading the begining and compare it to the end and you’ll see the diffrence but like i said you could but like i said you could go either way in deciding either way in deciding either positive or negative. For example close to the end of the book auggie does a public play. You can tell their has been a chage in the story because at the begining auggie would not have ever done that because of his looks. In coclusion auggie had a good year and it had a positive impact on him.
