In year 12 i was given the chance to do work experience in a pharmacy for my first year. This experience enabled me to get an insight in the pharmaceutical side of medicine. Although not directly involved in any medical activities, i was still able to analyse laboratory procedures and how doctors and laboratory technicians worked together to provide necessary treatment for their patients.
