Budweiser Ad Analysis Essay
Budweiser is an American-style beer brewing company that has dominated the beer market since 1876. The company has ads featured all over the world in stores, on billboards, social media, and of course, television. They have earned a spot on the commercial list for the world famous NFL Super Bowl, which over the years has become a spot that is highly respectable. In order to achieve the ratings that Budweiser has obtained, they have had to outdo the competition with their ads, and as numbers go, they are successful. This essay will be analyzing a very popular Budweiser Super Bowl commercial showcasing the unbreakable bonds between a man and his animals. The Budweiser: Best Buds Super Bowl commercial adequately sparks the interest in adults to buy their products by using an original approach filled with, “Awe factors.” The commercial begins with a rancher and one of the Budweiser famous Clydesdale horses in a stable with a small, white puppy popping his head out of the hay. Within seconds, Budweiser has captured the hearts of not only adults, but families and viewers everywhere. The awe factor that this puppy brings is highlighted throughout the duration of the ad and is the main staple of pathos. He is accompanied by the feelings of worry and fright, but also courageousness and hope. …show more content…
There are never any words spoken about the product and it is shown one time at the very end, and even then, it is only for a quick second in the hands of the rancher while the horse and puppy are the focus of the scene. What Budweiser does is give out an ad that tells a story of friendships and how important they can be, even if it is a bond between animals. With this, Budweiser can show the viewers that they are more than just a brewing company trying to persuade people to buy their product, they are a caring group of actual people who value more than just a successful

In a Doritos ‘commercial, a man working in his garden becomes suspicious when he sees his Great Dane burying what appears to be the collar of a missing cat.
