To Whom it May Concern:
I am writing on behalf of Jiang Wang regarding his application for the National Honor Society program. Jiang and I have been neighbors for over 5 years, but have known each other for more than a decade. During this time, I have gotten to know Jiang quite well and can thoroughly vouch for his scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
Jiang is a very selfless person. He is both nice and caring for everyone that he meets. He would put anyone before himself, and thus he displays many examples of service and generosity. I often see him helping his parents with many activities and chores, and I know that his characteristic of service is beyond excellent.
I am also 100% sure that Jiang is very scholarly. From his school transcript, I can see that he is class rank 4 out of 178, while he has always maintained a school GPA of over 100. All of his exam and class scores are very overachieving, and his scholarly actions of being hard-working and intelligent allow him to be extremely successful in school.
Jiang’s character is also very present through the experiences that I’ve had with him. He is both very honorable and caring in his thoughts and actions, and I believe that he’s very ethical in all that he does. He would rarely, if ever, go against any rules for any reason because he knows that character is important. He shows much of the important and necessary characteristics to be successful, such as caring, generosity, honor, courtesy, and morality.
Overall, Jiang is definitely qualified for the National Honor Society program, including the leadership that he brings to our neighborhood and community. He excels in many categories and is very determined at doing and being the best he can be. He will bring much experience to the program, maybe as much as the program will bring for him. Thank you for considering Jiang Wang as a candidate for National Honor Society.
