Fast growth and asleep for a lot of the time,swallowing, sucking, rooting, grasps your finger cries to communicate, knows parents voice & stops to listen, responds to smiles, only aware of their own needs,

Recognises parents, and mum's smell in relation to feeding, feels objects with their mouth, responds to different sounds and colours, uses images as a way of memory, cries to communicate, different types of cries, knows parents voice & stops to listen, turns to sounds, makes gurgling noises,
3-9 months beginning to roll over, pulls legs up & puts feet in mouth, sits up with support, lifts head and neck off floor when placed on their stomachs, grasps & holds objects, plays with own fingers, passes object from hand to hand, focusing on objects further away, at 6 months teeth appear, maybe start crawling, standing and cruising the furniture, drops thing on purpose then looks for them, uses pincher grip,
Can get upset at new faces, smiles, laughs and cries with strong emotions to communicate, sensitive to tone of voice, sees themselves as individuals, responds to own name called, parents or key person very important, show preferences to people and has strong likes and dislikes,

follows movements, sensitive to tone of voice, upset at loud noises, aware of key people, getting familiar with sounds & objects, interested in age appropriate toys, likes peep-po, making their own observations, egocentric,

    Birth and infancy 0-3 years | Birth-3 months: Her motor controls started to develop,(able to move her head side to side, arms legs and feet) 3-6 months :She was able to lift her head up while lying on her belly, and kick her legs, and at 6 months she was able to roll on to her stomach 6-12 months: She was able to sit up without support and could now crawl, and was able to walk with some assistance 1-2 years: She was able to take a few steps without help, and was able to crawl up the stairs, and she started to grow her first teeth. 2-3 years: She was able to walk with a smoother pattern, and was able to jump over small obstacles e.g. garden toys, and was able to climb up a small ladder for a slide. | Birth-4 months: Her vision will go through many stages in the first couple of months.
