Once all the children arrived Mrs. G rang a bell, then she showed them sign with a number five. Once the five minutes passed, she rang the bell again and Mrs. G Showed a red stop sign. Children started to clean up and walk to the carpet area. Once the children got to the carpet each child had their own chair. Mrs. G states “Jesse make sure you sit in your seat the red chair is Devon’s.” An aide walked next to Jesse and pointed to the green chair. “This is your chair,” he nods his head right and left them, he throws himself to the floor. As the instructional aide redirects him and gets him to sit in his green chair. Mrs. G started reading a book with the children. As she read caps for sale she also used felt pieces in the shape of caps. She handed one to each child and as she was reading she had the children put them on the felt board. Once they were done with the story she had them go into groups of three to work on math work sheets. There was one teacher at each table with three children the teachers gave the children unifix cubes to use to do an adding and subtracting worksheet. G she mentioned that she individualizes for every child depending on their need. Each child’s services are stated in their Iep all the services the children are served in the classroom. She meets with parent’s quarter for parent conferences to talk about children’s progress or concerns. Sometimes she meets with parents in between conferences if there is a need to address a situation. She also invites and assist children’s Iep
