Comfort Zone Film Analysis
I believe life is about taking risks and moving to Long Beach to follow my dreams is one of the biggest risks I had to. I came to CSULB knowing little to nothing about film and I wrote and directed a short film called Comfort Zone, which is one of my biggest accomplishments that has affected me as an artist and student.

My father is the only one in my family of six that works. He barely makes enough to maintain my family with the daily necessities. I am the second person going to college from my family and I am funding my education on my own just as my older brother did. I have applied to every available scholarship and any money awarded to me will be a great help. I will benefit from this scholarship because it will help me secure the resources I need in order to be successful in my classes and projects. In addition, this scholarship will help me complete my last year at CSULB and achieve one of my biggest

The war on drugs is one of the longest, seemingly non-progressive issues the US has ever faced. The fact that the government has been prolonging the end of this war, is an issue in itself. The documentary The House I Live In, directed by Eugene Jarecki in 2012, is an informative and important film for the advancement of the war on drugs. In the film, the complete history of the war on drugs is picked apart and essentially, it is determined and expressed that the war on drugs is a counterproductive stint to maximize the wealth and the image of the government. The film is eye-opening, in that it also explains the degree of classism and racism which has provided the basic ideas behind the war on drugs.…
